Enable Mediqo Integration
Log in to Best Practice.
Go to Setup → Configuration → Database → Setup Third Party Integrations. Tick Mediqo Health (via Halo Connect) and click Save.
Provide Site ID
In BP, navigate to Help → About BP Premier.
Note the Site ID and email Site ID directly to our secure mediqo.health email address
Create Mediqo User Account
In BP, create a new user account named Mediqo AI Reception.
Assign a secure password. Set the role as Reception.

What workflows does the integration support?

How long does it take to set up the integration?
The setup is designed to be rapid and low-disruption. Most practices complete configuration in under two hours. MediQo integrates using your existing Halaxy credentials and practice workflows.
Will staff need to log into another system to use MediQo?
No. MediQo operates within your existing Halaxy workflow. Clinicians and admin staff continue to use Halaxy as usual, with MediQo tools embedded seamlessly so there’s no extra login or platform switching.
Is patient data secure during the sync?
Absolutely. All data is encrypted and stored exclusively in Australia (Sydney and Melbourne data centres). All MediQo services comply with HL7, FHIR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA standards.
Can the MediQo–Halaxy integration support multi-site practices?
Yes. MediQo scales across multiple locations and supports both single-site and multi-site setups with unified or site-specific configuration while syncing seamlessly into Halaxy at each location.
What happens if bookings or notes don’t synchronise immediately?
MediQo monitors sync status and automatically retries until successful. A full audit log is maintained so you have visibility and control. No data is lost.
Do I need a specific Halaxy subscription to support MediQo?
No. MediQo supports current and recent versions of the Halaxy API. Our onboarding includes a compatibility check to ensure your Halaxy setup is ready for integration.
