Enable Mediqo Integration
Log in to Best Practice.
Go to Setup → Configuration → Database → Setup Third Party Integrations. Tick Mediqo Health (via Halo Connect) and click Save.
Provide Site ID
In BP, navigate to Help → About BP Premier.
Note the Site ID and email Site ID directly to our secure mediqo.health email address
Create Mediqo User Account
In BP, create a new user account named Mediqo AI Reception.
Assign a secure password. Set the role as Reception.

No. The integration works alongside Nookal’s existing interface. Clinicians continue using Nookal as they always have, with MediQo’s tools embedded or accessible without jumping between platforms.
How is patient data protected during sync?
All data remains fully encrypted and stored within Australian data centres (Sydney and Melbourne). The technology is built on HL7 and FHIR, and compliant with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA standards.
Can the integration support multi-practitioner or multi-site practices?
Yes. MediQo scales to multi-location practices using Nookal, providing unified or site-specific configuration while maintaining full sync across locations.
What happens if data does not synchronise immediately?
MediQo tracks sync status and automatically retries until data transfers properly. This ensures bookings, notes, and documentation are never lost.
Do I need a particular version of Nookal or special add-ons?
No extra add-ons are required. MediQo supports the current and recent versions of Nookal’s API, and we work with your existing environment to ensure compatibility.
